Job summary

Seagate is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support upkeep and operational efficiency of our Delray Beach club facilities. This hands-on role covers general maintenance, preventative tasks, and repairs across building systems and equipment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to respond quickly to routine and urgent maintenance needs. This full-time position requires physical work and strong teamwork in a hospitality-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in a maintenance, facilities, or similar role.
• Experience in construction or facility maintenance, including supervisory or lead responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry fundamentals.
• Ability to solve practical problems independently and make sound decisions.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, climbing ladders, and working in varying weather conditions.
• Comfortable working in environments with moderate noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, plumbing, kitchen equipment, and minor masonry work.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks and monitor system performance.
• Identify and address building safety concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Support maintenance programs by completing daily, weekly, and monthly checklists.
• Assist leadership with identifying, ordering, and managing maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Maintain inventory and order general supplies for the country club as needed.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, including after-hours situations when required.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams, vendors, and management.
• Work with attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through while maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude.
• Adapt to changing priorities and maintain schedule flexibility to meet operational needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Preferred experience in construction or facility maintenance, including supervisory or lead responsibilities
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry fundamentals
