Job summary

La Quinta Inn & Suites Valdosta is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support daily hotel operations and uphold guest satisfaction and asset protection. You will help lead the front desk team, implement revenue management strategies, and ensure high standards of service.

This role requires strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities, with an emphasis on maintaining quality control and cost management in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality training or equivalent preferred.
• Prior hotel experience is desirable.
• Able to communicate clearly in English; bilingual Spanish/English a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the general manager with daily hotel operations to maintain guest satisfaction and asset protection.
• Train front desk staff on front office operations and revenue management procedures.
• Support yield management and rate structure discussions with front desk and sales teams.
• Perform front desk duties during staffing shortages as needed.
• Prepare and analyze reports to reflect departmental performance and make recommendations.
