LaQuinta Pueblo CO is seeking a reliable and hardworking Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role maintains the hotel property, guest rooms, and public areas to ensure a safe, comfortable environment for guests and staff.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry, and can respond quickly to maintenance issues in a hotel setting. Flexible schedule including weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience with hotel maintenance or similar facility maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and complete repairs efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs (PM) for guest rooms and building systems.
• Perform basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Inspect hotel property to ensure safety and cleanliness standards are maintained.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance logs.
• Assist with room renovations and improvement projects when needed.
• Work with management to coordinate repairs and outside contractors when necessary.

Schedule Requirements

• Hotel operates 24 hours / 7 days a week
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings as needed

• Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work with tools and equipment
