The Maintenance Specialist position is responsible for the overall maintenance of all Company properties and facilities.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma/GED or Trade School training; experience may be considered as a substitute for education
2. Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in general maintenance and/or maintenance/repair of equipment
3. Knowledge of electrical circuitry, basic electrical principles, NEC requirements
4. Ability to read plumbing schematics and knowledge of plumbing safety, pipe jointing, and pipe clearing techniques
5. Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
6. Ability to work independently with discretion and judgment
7. Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA safety standards
8. Valid driver’s license and insurance; ability to travel as required
9. Strong communication skills
10. Availability for on-call duties during nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee building maintenance and repairs
2. Manage contractors and oversee bid processes for repairs and purchases
3. Maintain fire safety equipment and ensure regulatory compliance
4. Handle purchase orders and capital expenditure requests
5. Monitor HVAC systems for compliance and performance
6. Advise on contractor services and service agreements
7. Maintain inventory and a safe work environment
8. Assist with routine facility duties as directed
9. Perform other duties as assigned
