What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Approve continued operations with deferred equipment/systems based on pilot or technician reports of aircraft systems malfunctions
- Serve as the primary contact for scheduled and unscheduled aircraft out-of-service events, coordinating necessary resources
- Review aircraft maintenance releases and documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain accurate logs for deferred maintenance items and aircraft status updates
- Assist in planning major scheduled maintenance events at regional maintenance bases
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License
- Five (5) years of experience in an FAA 14 CFR Part 135 or Part 145 aircraft maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of 14 CFR regulations and aircraft maintenance policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and maintenance management programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Approved Aircraft Inspection Programs (AAIP) and aircraft Minimum Equipment Lists (MEL)
- Strong customer service skills and effective communication abilities with all organizational levels
- Willingness to work after-hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
