Job Summary

Perform troubleshooting, maintenance repairs, and preventive maintenance for all equipment and facilities. Assist production as needed. Maintain the maintenance shop area in a neat and organized manner. Monitor and maintain all production, support, and auxiliary equipment, including setup of molds and recording maintenance activities. Understand and interpret electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical drawings and specifications. Troubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controls) and work with live and low/high voltage electrical systems in accordance with OSHA and NFPA 70 standards.

Available Shifts

Mon-Fri or 12-hour nights, 2/2/3 schedule

Responsibility & Authority

Technimark establishes the interrelation of all personnel who manage, perform, and verify work affecting quality via Technimark’s Organization Chart and specific procedures, ensuring the independence and authority necessary to perform these tasks. The Organization Chart is reviewed annually for adequacy. Independence and authority are established in the Control of Nonconforming Product procedure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Monitor and maintain daily, weekly, monthly preventative maintenance on production equipment and building maintenance.
2. Work closely with all departments to ensure production operations run at maximum efficiency and quality with minimal downtime.
3. Inspect all machines, robots, and auxiliary equipment for safe and efficient operation.
4. Assist in setting up new or special equipment, automation, and robots in collaboration with relevant departments.
5. Perform and record repairs to equipment.
6. Proactively report or attempt to fix potential problems.
7. Organize and maintain inventory of spare equipment; notify Maintenance Manager when replacements are needed.
8. Understand basic hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical principles, and read related prints.
9. Ensure all mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic safety systems are functioning properly per OSHA and other regulations.
10. Keep shop and work areas clean according to company policies.
11. Perform other duties as required.
