Republic Services, Inc. in Concord, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment, with supervision from a Lead Technician or Maintenance Manager. You will help keep our fleet running safely and efficiently.

The role offers training in new technologies, opportunities for growth, and a stable schedule in a critical industry. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Able to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of a vehicle's mechanical and electrical systems to perform basic preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Areas of equipment maintenance may include vehicle preventive maintenance inspections and adjustments; Oil changes and fluids replenishment; Adjustments and light repairs, including tire changes; and Basic electrical work.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned or apparent.
