Job summary

Republic Services in Greensboro, NC is seeking a Maintenance Technician C to perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment under supervision. You will help keep our fleet running smoothly for drivers as they serve routes with state-of-the-art vehicles.

This role offers hands-on training, exposure to advanced systems, and a clear path for growth within a stable industry. Minimum 1–3 years of experience plus a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in vehicle maintenance or related field.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures and troubleshoot common faults.
• Completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required.
• ASE Certification T8 PM is a plus but not required.
• A valid Driver’s License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a basic knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to perform preventive maintenance and some repair functions.
• Carrying out preventive maintenance inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and light repairs.
• Completes applicable Company training programs.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
