Job summary

Henderson Group seeks a Maintenance Shift Supervisor for a new food & beverage plant in Prattville, AL. The role oversees a maintenance crew on a full shift, ensuring safety, quality, and environmental results while aligning with production goals.

You will drive preventive maintenance, manage work orders in CMMS/ERP, and coach technicians to improve skills and accountability on the floor. A relocation option is available and compensation includes a bonus component.

Qualifications

Engineering or technical degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
5+ years leading or supervising maintenance in manufacturing.
Food, beverage, or CPG experience preferred; other industries will be considered.
Strong hydraulic, pneumatic, drive, and industrial electrical troubleshooting background.
ERP-based CMMS experience required.
A floor-first leader who is credible with technicians.
Communicates clearly and holds a crew accountable through a full shift.

Responsibilities

Supervise a shift of maintenance technicians and own safety, quality, food safety, and environmental results for the shift.
Distribute and track daily work orders and ensure completion to standard.
Lead shift handoffs and represent maintenance in production tier meetings.
Collaborate with planning on backlog, priorities, and staffing.
Drive progress from reactive repairs to planned and preventive work.
