Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventive maintenance tasks to keep facilities, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
• Complete facility work orders, including basic repairs and cleaning.
• Prepare meeting spaces for daily events, including setup and takedown.
• Set up chairs, tables, and other equipment for events.
• Provide incidental services related to events, such as garbage removal or cleaning.
• Unloading equipment or supplies as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

The A. Ray Olpin University Union provides a multitude of programs and services for the campus and surrounding community. The Union is looking for candidates to support that mission by assisting with preventative maintenance and work orders in the Union building. This role will also be responsible for setting up and taking down events as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

Entry‑level position, will receive training on the job. Six months experience equivalency (6 months year of education can be substituted for one year of related work experience) preferred. The ability to perform heavy lifting and stooping; the ability to use a variety of equipment; a commitment to providing excellent customer service; and a valid driver's license also required.
