Job Summary

The A. Ray Olpin University Union provides a multitude of programs and services for the campus and surrounding community. The Union is looking for candidates to support that mission by assisting with preventative maintenance and work orders in the Union building. This role will also be responsible for setting up and taking down events as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up chairs, tables, and other equipment or supplies as needed for events.
  • Provides incidental services related to events, such as garbage removal or cleaning.
  • May be responsible for unloading equipment or supplies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications

Entry-level position, will receive training on the job. Six months experience equivalency (6 months year of education can be substituted for one year of related work experience) preferred. The ability to perform heavy lifting and stooping; the ability to use a variety of equipment; a commitment to providing excellent customer service; and a valid driver’s license also required.
