Arlington Properties, LLC in Fultondale, AL, is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician who takes pride in keeping apartment homes safe, functional, and inviting. You’ll perform a range of tasks from fixing HVAC and plumbing to painting and unit turnover, always with an emphasis on safety and quality. This role offers on-site work, hands-on problem solving, and opportunities to grow with ongoing training. A flexible schedule including weekends and on-call shifts is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions.
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartments to market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile.
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting.
• Support preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Be on-call for emergency maintenance needs.
