Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician in Troy, MI to handle tasks from fixing appliances to painting vacant units and keeping common areas inviting.

You will respond to work orders, support preventative maintenance, snow removal, pool upkeep, and on-call emergencies. A high school diploma and 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance are required; EPA certification preferred and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain apartments (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, appliances) and prep units for market-ready condition.
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and professionalism.
• Maintain grounds and common areas and support preventative maintenance.
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs and on-call shifts.
• Assist with snow removal, pool upkeep, and seasonal tasks.
