Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician at Stoney Brook in Fultondale, AL. You’ll fix appliances, perform light plumbing and electrical work, and keep vacant units market-ready.

You’ll work with a hands-on team, maintain common areas, support preventative maintenance, and respond to on-call needs. Must have HS diploma and 1–5 years of maintenance experience; EPA preferred; valid license; ability to lift 100 lbs; flexibility including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC).
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors.

• Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition
• Handle work orders with skill, urgency, and a smile
• Perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair
• Keep grounds and common areas clean and inviting

QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For

• 1-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Excellent communication and professionalism with residents and team members
• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on-call shifts
