Job summary

Arlington Properties is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join our team in Tuscaloosa. Prep vacant apartments to market-ready condition, handle work orders with skill and urgency, and perform general maintenance including light plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC support, and appliance repair.

Stay on-call for emergency maintenance, keep grounds and common areas clean, and support preventative maintenance and inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5 years hands-on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.).
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area.
• EPA certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

Qualifications: What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1–5 years of hands‑on maintenance experience (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, etc.)
• Proficiency in at least one major trade area

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, climb ladders, and work outdoors in all conditions

• Available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and on‑call shifts
