Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Seattle to ensure the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of community buildings and amenities. You will diagnose issues, complete make-ready tasks for vacants, and uphold Greystar standards across grounds, exteriors, and interiors.

Responsibilities include supervising work orders, coordinating vendors, and supporting budgeting efforts. Proactive safety adherence and resident service are essential in this role at Greystar's vibrant communities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively to interact with residents and team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair defects in buildings and common areas per policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units including inspections and scheduling vendors.
• Set standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and interiors per Greystar quality.
• Inspect staff and contractor work to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and assist with budget management.
• Complete monthly preventive maintenance and safety compliance procedures.
