Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Maintenance Planner/Scheduler in the United States to own and optimize the plant CMMS. You will plan preventive and corrective maintenance, coordinate work orders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve maintenance strategies and equipment reliability.

The role emphasizes data-driven reporting, asset management, and timely project execution within a safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent technical background.
• Proficient with CMMS and strong electrical and mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and data analysis.
• Very strong organizational skills and ability to plan and execute tasks on time.
• Strong written and verbal communication and technical reporting ability.
• Ability to interpret OEM manuals, drawings, schematics and prints; lead projects.
• Export license may be required; eligibility to obtain license.
• Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate major preventative, proactive, and project maintenance activities within the maintenance team and across the plant, while tracking reactive maintenance efforts to ensure operational efficiency.
• Screen incoming work orders to identify scope of work, required resources, and safety risks, and plan accordingly to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with plant teams to ensure timely scheduling and execution of work orders with complete CMMS documentation.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports (after-action, utilization, safety, PM compliance, backlog) to assist management.
• Ensure legacy equipment is assigned an asset ID and criticality level; apply to new equipment as installed.
• Develop and load PM procedures, tasks, and schedules into the CMMS based on OEM recommendations and plant inputs.
• Act as main contact for coordinating maintenance and equipment engineering projects; oversee parts flow for timely delivery and repairs.
• Track reactive work order trends to drive RCA and maintenance-driven performance metrics.
