Responsibilities
  • Define, create, update, or modify work procedures and maintain documentation for administrative and quality purposes. Place special emphasis on maintaining on‑time delivery of preventive / predictive maintenance plans to ensure optimum operation of the company’s assets in the short and long term, reducing unplanned equipment downtime and lowering total cost of ownership.

  • Plan Preventive / Predictive Work: Creates the appropriate work details (instructions, safety precautions and PPE, spare parts needed, tools needed, number and type of craft resources, duration and sequence of work tasks, whether equipment is energized or de‑energized, drawings and manuals, etc.) for repetitive preventive and predictive work using standard work templates. • Schedule Daily/Weekly Work: Sets the daily and weekly schedules for internal maintenance staff for all jobs (preventative, predictive, corrective, rebuilds, etc.) except emergency calls. This includes creating schedules, adjusting priorities, rescheduling unfinished jobs, and ensuring PM and PdM work completes on time within appropriate windows. Communicate schedules via weekly meetings and distribute them in paper or electronic format.

Ideal turnaround: 3‑5 business days. Physically stage parts and tools for specific jobs and/or return unused items to storage.

  • Schedule Outage Work: Schedules outage work (site‑wide or specific equipment outages), including support from operators. Communicates outage plan and critical path jobs, daily outage update strategy/format, and leads multiple meetings prior to outage to ensure all stakeholders are aware of the timeline. Works jointly with project leaders on installations/modifications, providing input on project schedule and taking over scheduling responsibilities.
