Johns Manville in Cleburne, Texas, is seeking a Maintenance Scheduler to minimize maintenance costs and maximize workforce efficiency. This role requires planning and scheduling work orders, coordinating resources, and liaising between departments.
The ideal candidate will have a High School/Technical School diploma and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and leadership skills are necessary, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
The Maintenance Scheduler’s role is to minimize total maintenance costs by maximizing workforce efficiency and productivity through detailed planning and scheduling of work orders. The scheduler anticipates and eliminates potential delays by coordinating manpower, parts, materials, and equipment access, and maintains liaison between Production and Maintenance departments.
High School/Technical School diploma with a minimum of 3 years of technical/mechanical and electrical work experience.
Ability to utilize and understand maintenance software systems.
Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, and rotating equipment.
Strong organizational skills, leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Basic understanding of electrical equipment and electronics, and a solid understanding of the interface between electrical and mechanical equipment.
Ability to understand ISO requirements, inspections, and audits.
Strong time/project management skills.
24/7 availability to respond to emergency situations outside normal schedule.
Minimal travel (0–10 days per year).
Must be able to work in a typical office setting and be physically able to perform essential job functions.
