Job summary

INDEVCO Plastics, a member of INDEVCO North America, Inc., is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance team responsible for equipment, facilities, and operational support on the production floor.

The role focuses on lean manufacturing improvements, plant-wide troubleshooting, CMMS-driven maintenance, and inventory controls to reduce downtime and boost productivity. Flexibility to support production schedules is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years managing a maintenance team in a manufacturing facility.
• 5 years experience in plastics processing or management.
• OSHA 19.10 and 19.26 and NFPA Code knowledge.
• Experience using CMMS.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to support production.
• Electrical fabrication, mechanical, plumbing, and building maintenance experience.
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, vacuum, and chiller systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance meetings across shifts.
• Communicate projects and priorities to Engineering Manager & Plant Leadership.
• Attend Plant Leadership meetings and motivate team members.
• Be a key member of the 5S and Safety committees.
• Evaluate skill sets and plan development for each maintenance tech.
• Use CMMS to improve the preventative maintenance system.
• Prioritize workload via standardized work orders.
• Verify work order completion with Production, Engineering, and Shift Managers.
• Manage parts inventory and vendor relations to ensure spare parts availability
• Oversee facility and grounds maintenance and manage maintenance budget, headcount, and labor costs
• Communicate project status against budget and timelines for equipment start-up
• Upgrade equipment for speed/quality and product enhancements
• Lead continuous improvement projects to reduce downtime on machines
