Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or facilities management is preferred.
• Ability to work under time pressures and handle multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Solve maintenance problems when standardization is limited.
• Perform duties under constant time pressures.
• Test emergency generator.
• Record data from main electrical panels.
• Inspect air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment, sprinkler systems; record inspection data.
• Test sprinkler system water flow, tamper switches, and alarms.
• Test fire pump and alarm.
• Inspect and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Inspect, lubricate, and clean condensers and evaporators.
• Perform annual inspections on refrigeration compressors (oil change, filter, internal inspection).
• Inspect and lubricate freezer and cooler doors; maintain spare parts inventory.
• Design and construct carpentry items requested by other departments.
