J.M. Smucker seeks a Technical Supervisor to lead maintenance planning, scheduling, reliability, and storeroom activities across a Columbus bakery.

You will drive preventive/predictive maintenance, ensure safety, food quality, and GMP compliance, and optimize resources with cross-functional collaboration. The role requires 5+ years in food-manufacturing maintenance, CMMS proficiency, and strong Excel/Word skills.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least five years of maintenance experience in a food-manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, preventive and predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance.
• Experience using a CMMS and analyzing downtime trends, maintenance performance data.
• Knowledge of bakery or food-manufacturing equipment, food safety requirements, and safe maintenance practices.
• Ability to coordinate planned work, contractors, vendors, and multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role.

Responsabilidades

• Build, prioritize, and maintain weekly and long-range maintenance schedules.
• Plan maintenance work by coordinating labor, parts, tools, contractors, permits, and resources.
• Manage the maintenance backlog and work-order priorities in CMMS.
• Coach and develop the department on CMMS and Operations Excellence tools.
• Lead preventive and predictive maintenance performance and program improvements.
• Lead storeroom operations, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and spare-parts availability.
• Provide coaching to Storeroom Leader/Buyer and build team capability in CMMS tools.
• Analyze downtime and asset-performance data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Facilitate root-cause analysis and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet food quality, safety, and GMPs.
• Serve as QA Key Element owner for equipment and maintenance requirements.
• Serve as Safety Key Element owner.
• Attend daily direction-setting meetings and weekly line scorecard reviews.
• Coordinate with Sanitation, Operations Excellence, and Maintenance to improve equipment performance and asset utilization.
• Coordinate contractors and vendors ensuring safe, efficient work within scope.
• Track maintenance performance including PM completion, backlog aging, and inventory results.
• Support equipment installation, startup, capital projects, and bakery improvement initiatives.
