Job summary

Saint-Gobain’s CertainTeed division seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering across the plant, ensuring safe, cost-effective production. You will collaborate with Operations, EHS, Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 8–10 years in manufacturing, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of SAP/ERP, PM planning, and Lean/Six Sigma.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or closely related field.
• Minimum 8–10 years in a manufacturing environment managing maintenance, engineering, and operations.
• Proven ability to lead multiple high‑level projects with focus on safety, quality, reliability, and cost control.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems, maintenance planning, inventory management, and work order systems.
• Strong maintenance and reliability background across hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, and automated systems.
• Experience with root cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with federal, state and local regulations including OSHA and environmental rules.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, reliability, and engineering activities for safe, efficient manufacturing operations.
• Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime.
• Plan, schedule, budget, and monitor maintenance activities and resources.
• Drive root cause analyses and implement corrective actions.
• Lead capital projects from justification to commissioning and tracking expenditures.
• Supervise Maintenance Reliability Engineers, Automation/Controls Engineers, Supervisors, Planners, and Storeroom staff.
• Support employee development, performance management, and workforce engagement.
