Job summary

Hitachi Energy USA INC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a skilled maintenance team at the Small Power Transformer facility in Crystal Springs, Mississippi. You will drive reliability, safety, and continuous improvement while ensuring production equipment and utilities operate safely and efficiently.

This role involves mentoring maintenance professionals, coordinating daily activities, and implementing Lean/ TPM initiatives to reduce downtime and improve asset performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years of supervisory or team management experience.
• Experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of troubleshooting, reliability principles, and root cause analysis.
• Experience using CMMS to plan, schedule, and document maintenance actions.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and contractors.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities to support production goals.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs across the facility.
• Respond to equipment issues quickly and implement downtime-minimizing solutions.
• Analyze equipment failures and lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, and asset history.
• Champion safety programs including LOTO, electrical safety, confined space, and hot work.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability and efficiency.
