Job summary

6 Degrees Search seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function at a manufacturing facility in Anderson, South Carolina. You will direct maintenance across production equipment, utilities, and facilities, driving uptime, safety, and continuous improvement.

You will develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs, lead root-cause analyses, and manage budgets and external contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition‑based maintenance practices.
• Experience with plastics, blow molding, injection molding, and/or automotive manufacturing is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team with clear performance expectations and development plans.
• Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance programs to improve equipment reliability.
• Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and work-order execution via the CMMS.
• Monitor KPIs like equipment uptime, OEE, MTBF, MTTR, and maintenance compliance.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Develop annual maintenance plans and coordinate shutdowns to minimize production disruption.
• Oversee maintenance of equipment, electrical systems, HVAC, utilities, and facility infrastructure.
• Lead TPM and other continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and cost performance.
