Job summary

CertainTeed in the United States seeks a Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance and reliability, overseeing preventive, predictive, and corrective programs, managing budgets and personnel, and driving improvements to maximize equipment uptime and safety.

You will direct capital projects, partner with cross‑functional teams, conduct root-cause analyses, apply Six Sigma, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver reports on maintenance performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with 15+ years of progressive maintenance/industrial experience or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipment and maintenance processes.
• Leadership, communication, and organizational skills; previous supervision experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance planning, scheduling and budgeting activities.
• Oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
• Direct and manage Maintenance Supervisors, Planners, and MRO Supervisors.
