Hanover Springfield, a luxury apartment community in Springfield, VA, is seeking an experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily maintenance tasks and oversee on-site operations with a focus on safety and quality. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, completing work orders, coordinating with the Maintenance Supervisor, and ensuring timely, professional service for residents.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds and carry a lifting belt.
• Must own a personal set of tools.
• Knowledge of general maintenance and comfort repairing HVAC, plumbing, appliances, electrical, and pool equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow Hanover Maintenance and QA standards for safety and cleanliness during routine property walks and reporting.
• Complete required logs and weekly/monthly reporting in the property management software.
• Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing operations, including basic make-readies, repairs, painting, and on-site duties.
• Complete service requests, make readies, and inspections in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety programs and policies.
• Carry and answer Hanover-issued mobile device on-call.
• Represent property professionally through dress and behavior.
• Coordinate with Global Service and Support Team to improve operations.
• Perform duties to ensure efficient and economical property operation.
