Job summary

Pratt Retail Specialties, LLC in Conyers, GA seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician responsible for maintaining production equipment, facilities, and assets. You will troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.

This role requires strong problem solving, reading schematics, and adherence to safety policies; overtime and long shifts may be needed. This is a hands-on position supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in industrial maintenance.
• Trade training in mechanical/electrical fields.
• Ability to read schematics and blueprints.
• Able to multitask and communicate with coworkers.
• Familiarity with OSHA regulations.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic/pneumatic/building systems.
• Support production equipment to reach optimum capabilities.
• Establish root cause analysis on equipment failures.
• Support project work and continuous improvement efforts.
• Maintain 5S systems and GMP compliance.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Adjust equipment to meet production schedules.
• Expand knowledge of maintenance practices and technologies.
• Other duties as needed.
