Job summary

Tradition Senior Living in Houston’s Woodway community is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Porter to assist in maintaining the grounds, safety, and cleanliness of the community. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and supports the daily operations of the maintenance department.

You will perform landscaping tasks, lighting maintenance, pool/spa upkeep, inventory control, and assist with emergency maintenance, contributing to a safe and well-kept living environment for residents and staff

Qualifications

• Possesses basic maintenance experience or equivalent experience and education.

Responsibilities

• Clean garbage areas and maintain exterior spaces.
• Replace light bulbs for exterior lighting as delegated.
• Assist with landscaping and pruning of shrubs and flowers.
• Assist in inventory control and upkeep of ground equipment and supplies.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and day-to-day tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Perform pressure washing and snow removal duties as required.
• Keep pool/spa clean, balance chemicals and log activity.
• Report hazards to Maintenance Director or Executive Director.
