Job summary

CWS Apartment Homes is seeking a Porter to maintain grounds, amenities, and assist the maintenance team with service requests at a luxury community. The role involves completing minor requests, making ready apartments, and maintaining common areas, pools, and inventory.

You will communicate with residents, investors, vendors, and team members, participate in resident satisfaction and preventative maintenance programs, and adhere to safety and risk management practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Janitorial experience (preferred).
• CPO certification (required).
• Possess a valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance (required).
• Read service requests and schedules and communicate in English.
• Basic computer skills.
• Adhere to a set and variable work schedule.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices.
• Maintain professional and ethical atmosphere.
• May perform duties at locations other than home property.
• Travel within major metropolitan areas and attend company functions in other cities.

Responsibilities

• Complete minor service requests.
• Prepare make-ready apartments.
• Maintain common areas of the community.
• Maintain pool area.
• Maintain inventory and shop organization.
• Participate in resident satisfaction programs.
• Participate in preventative maintenance program.
• Communicate with customers, residents, investors, vendors, leadership, and CWS team members.
• Participate in the CWS Risk Management and Safety Programs.
