Tradition Senior Living in Houston’s Woodway community is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Porter to assist in maintaining the grounds, safety, and cleanliness of the community. The role reports to the Maintenance Director and supports the daily operations of the maintenance department.

You will perform landscaping tasks, lighting maintenance, pool/spa upkeep, inventory control, and assist with emergency maintenance, contributing to a safe and well-kept living environment for residents and staff

Qualifikationen

• Possesses basic maintenance experience or equivalent experience and education.

• Clean garbage areas and maintain exterior spaces.
• Replace light bulbs for exterior lighting as delegated.
• Assist with landscaping and pruning of shrubs and flowers.
• Assist in inventory control and upkeep of ground equipment and supplies.
• Assist with emergency maintenance and day-to-day tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Perform pressure washing and snow removal duties as required.
• Keep pool/spa clean, balance chemicals and log activity.
• Report hazards to Maintenance Director or Executive Director.

We are currently seeking aMaintenance Porterat our Houston - Woodwaycommunity. In this role, you will be responsible for performing tasks to assist in the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the community. TheMaintenance Porterreports directly to ourMaintenance Directorwho oversees day to day operations of the community'sMaintenancedepartment.

Responsibilities...

• Clean garbage compactor, dumpster, and enclosure.
• Empty garbage dumpsters into compactor.
• Hand water shrubs and flowers as needed.
• Perform special landscaping projects as required.
• Pick up garbage throughout the property.
• Replace light bulbs for outside lighting as delegated by Maintenance Director.
• Install and maintain fences and gates as assigned.
• Assist in inventory control and upkeep of all ground equipment and supplies.
• Assist with emergency maintenance.
• Clean stairwells as assigned.
• Clean/maintain pool and spa of debris, check chemical balance daily, adjust chemical balance as required, and complete the pool log.
• Clean breezeways, entry areas and under stairways.
• Advise the Maintenance Director and Executive Director of any landscape and/or other exterior liability hazards.
• Perform pressure washing as instructed by supervisor.
• Assist in snow removal and de-icing of sidewalks, stairs, and parking lots as required.
• Perform any additional duties assigned by the Executive or Maintenance Director

• Possesses basic maintenance experience or equivalent experience and education.
• Ability to positively interact with a wide range of people.
• Ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English.
• Practices good safety habits.
• Possesses demonstrated willingness to learn other property tasks.
• Appearance compatible with image of community.
• Ability to interact positively with others.
• Demonstrates caring and compassionate attitude.
• Share on-call duties with maintenance staff and respond promptly to calls.
• If required to drive for company a valid state driver’s license and minimum amount of liability insurance required by state is required.
