Job summary

Premier Development is seeking a dependable Maintenance Porter for a luxury residential community. The role involves maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming common areas and assisting with light maintenance and turnovers.

You will interact with residents and vendors to deliver excellent service while supporting the property team. The position offers full-time, on-site work with opportunities to contribute to property upkeep, seasonal maintenance, and team growth.

Qualifications

• Previous porter, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
• Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, clubhouses, and leasing offices.
• Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds clean and free of debris.
• Assist with trash and recycling collection and ensure dumpsters and compactor areas remain clean and organized.
• Perform light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, painting touch-ups, and minor repairs.
• Assist the maintenance team with apartment turnovers and general property upkeep.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Assist with snow removal, salting, and other seasonal property maintenance as needed.
• Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents and vendors.
