Job Title: Service Porter

Martin Automotive Group is seeking a Service Porter to join our team at our Hickory Hollow Hyundai dealership. Responsibilities:

1. Provide friendly, courteous, and prompt transportation to customers while their vehicles are being serviced or repaired.
2. Pick up and deliver packages, parts, or mail to the facility and run errands as needed.
3. Drive defensively and comply with all motor vehicle laws.
4. Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, recommend repairs/maintenance to management, and ensure registration and license tags are current.
5. Ensure all occupants wear seatbelts and child restraint seats are used according to local laws.
6. Pick up and deliver company-owned vehicles to dealerships and auctions.
7. Ensure vehicles are delivered in the same condition received, and deliver necessary paperwork and keys to appropriate personnel.
8. Obtain proper paperwork and keys from selling parties and return them to the General Manager.
9. Complete sign-off forms, manage dealer plates, and return them to the General Manager.
10. Submit expense reports and receipts in a timely manner to the General Manager.
11. Notify the General Manager of any incidents, including speeding tickets or obstructions.
12. Report any drivability issues or damage to vehicles.
13. Complete all required training as directed by supervisors.
14. Follow company policies and procedures outlined in the Employee Handbook.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and understand instructions and information.
• Knowledge of the local area or town.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
