Job summary

NOV in San Antonio is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance within the Max Maintenance ecosystem. You will develop detailed job plans, estimates, tools, materials, permits, drawings, and safety requirements to minimize downtime.

You will collaborate with production and purchasing to ensure parts availability, maintain PM programs based on reliability and history, and generate KPI reports for management while contributing to annual budget

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance using Max Maintenance.
• Review, prioritize, and validate maintenance work requests for completeness and accuracy.
• Develop detailed job plans including labor estimates, tools, materials, permits, drawings, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with production to minimize disruptions.
• Maintain and optimize PM programs based on reliability and history.
• Create and maintain equipment BOMs, maintenance procedures, and documentation.
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Storeroom to ensure parts availability.
• Monitor backlog and prioritize work by criticality, safety, compliance, and needs.
• Support shutdowns and major maintenance projects through planning and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, environmental regulations, and maintenance standards.
• Generate maintenance KPIs for management.
• Assist in developing annual maintenance budgets and forecasts.
