Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Cheraw, SC, is seeking a Group Leader - Maintenance Planning to lead maintenance strategy across workshops.

You will define processes with SC and production planning, plan and coordinate maintenance activities, and oversee collaboration with suppliers and spare parts management. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5 years in maintenance planning, strong Excel skills, and eligibility to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 5 years of experience in maintenance planning.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• External applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of approved methods, procedures, and tools while managing budgets and resources as agreed.
• Define maintenance-specific processes and schedules in collaboration with Supply Chain (SC) and/or production planning teams.
• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities across all assigned workshops.
• Contribute to the design, layout, realization, and optimization of technical infrastructure.
• Manage collaboration with external suppliers and maintenance service providers.
• Oversee spare parts management.
• Plan and procure spare parts effectively.
