Job summary

Schaeffler Group USA Inc. in Cheraw, SC is seeking a maintenance professional to implement standards, schedule maintenance, and ensure high equipment availability across the plant. The role requires coordinating with planning, budgeting, and asset optimization, while guiding a skilled maintenance team.

You will collaborate with external suppliers and contribute to the design and optimization of technical infrastructure, driving reliability and continuous improvement for manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a related field and 5–10 years of progressive experience.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance standards and schedules to ensure machine availability.
• Ensure methods, procedures and tools are followed; manage budgets and resources.
• Define maintenance processes and schedules with SC/production planning.
• Plan and coordinate maintenance activities across workshops.
• Contribute to design, layout, and optimization of technical infrastructure.
• Manage cooperation with external suppliers and maintenance service providers.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Implement maintenance standards, and define maintenance schedules and processes to ensure the availability of all manufacturing machines, for a single plant or MU assigned.
• Ensure implementation of approved methods, procedures and tools, manage budgets and resources as agreed.
• Define maintenance-specific processes and schedules, in cooperation with SC and/or production planning.
• Plan and coordinate all maintenance activities, across all assigned workshops.
• Contribute to design, layout, realization and/or optimization of technical infrastructure.
• Manage cooperation with external suppliers and maintenance service providers.
• Manage team of maintenance employees.

Your Qualifications

• Required:
  • Associate's Degree in related field
  • 5 - 10 years of progressive experience in related field
  • External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • Management experience
