Job summary

Schaeffler Technologies AG & Co. KG is seeking a Planner - Material Resource Planning (MRP) in Cheraw, SC to plan and schedule delivery of parts, materials and components for production.

You will analyze orders, verify stock availability and coordinate demand-capacity checks to optimize material flow. Responsibilities include sequencing daily/weekly plans, executing load balancing with master planning, and monitoring deliveries with proactive measures to address deviations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or high school diploma with relevant hands‑on experience.
• Solid skills in production planning and material requirements planning (MRP).
• Good understanding of demand and capacity analysis as well as scheduling tools.
• Proficiency in monitoring and coordinating deliveries; strong organizational skills and teamwork.
• Authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the delivery of parts, materials and components for production or in other supply chain operations as assigned.
• Regularly analyze order plans, and double-check availability of stocks of materials, parts and components (demand/capacity analyses).
• Arrange, schedule and prioritize sequences, quantities and target date based on DCC (demand capacity checks).
• Determine daily work order sequence, and level weekly sequence planning on a daily basis.
• Execute load balancing calculations, and cooperate with master planning for optimized plans.
• Monitor deliveries as scheduled, and propose measures in case of deviation.
