Job summary

EnerSys Energy Products Inc is seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate, plan, and schedule maintenance activities across a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on improving equipment reliability and plant performance through TPM and proactive maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities include developing PM procedures, prioritizing tasks, and ensuring parts and resources are ready before work. Collaboration with maintenance and operations is essential for reducing reactive maintenance

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma; Tech School Training is a plus.
• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency with CMMS and MS Office.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize maintenance schedules to support proactive maintenance strategies.
• Develop and update PM procedures to enhance reliability and efficiency.
• Prioritize maintenance tasks based on criticality, urgency, and impact.
• Ensure necessary parts, tools, and resources are ready prior to scheduling work.
• Assign technicians based on skills and workload distribution.
• Coordinate with production to schedule activities during planned downtime.
• Ensure work orders are properly prioritized, resourced, and executed.
• Collaborate to reduce reactive maintenance and improve planned work.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for services.
• Support shutdowns, projects, and TPM initiatives.
