Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Maintenance and Asset Reliability leader to drive planning, scheduling, and root cause analysis for production and facilities. You will direct work orders, ensure SOPs and safety standards, and support capital projects affecting equipment.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in an FDA/GMP environment, strong leadership and communication, and experience with PMs, WOs, and SAP systems to optimize maintenance performance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
  • Experience with root cause analysis and problem solving in an operations environment.
  • High attention to detail; able to multi task and manage customer service expectations.
  • Pursuit of associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • SAP knowledge preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
  • Create and update job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
  • Direct workflow for production and facilities using scheduled WOs and PMs; ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.
  • Track emergency and planned work orders and address chronic issues.
  • Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations on capital projects and PM implementation.

Description Overview
  • Provide leadership in planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to deliver world-class Asset Reliability and Maintenance performance for production, facility, and Maintenance organizations in PMI.
Scope of the Role
  • Plan jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
  • Create and update job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
  • Use scheduled Work Orders and PMs to direct workflow for production and facilities; provide instructions to technicians, apprentices, and contractors to ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed, and ensure PMs and WOs are completed timely.
  • Track emergency and planned work orders to ensure effective resolution and address chronic issues.
  • Collaborate with facilities, engineering, and operations on capital projects affecting related equipment; assist with developing and implementing PMs, spare part inventories, training, and drawings.
  • Assist with validation or quality concerns.
Experience / Qualifications
  • Demonstrated leadership; excellent communication, organizational, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multi-task, and customer service skills.
  • High school diploma or GED; progress toward an associate or bachelor’s degree; computer literacy; SAP knowledge preferred.
  • Recognized trade by the Department of Labor (related field) and scoping/planning/cost management experience preferred (not required).
  • 5+ years in operations/manufacturing environment; FDA regulated/GMP environment and maintenance experience preferred.
