Job summary

Perrigo is seeking a maintenance leader to drive planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to deliver world-class Asset Reliability and Maintenance for the site.

You will coordinate with facilities, engineering, and operations to plan jobs, create and update job plans, and supervise technicians and contractors to ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed. A 5-year operations background and GMP familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with progress toward associate or bachelor’s degree; SAP knowledge preferred.
• 5 years of experience in operations/manufacturing, FDA/GMP environment preferred.
• Experience leading teams and coordinating maintenance activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
• Create and update job plans to maintain an accurate job library.
• Direct workflow for production and facilities, instruct technicians and contractors to ensure SOPs and safety standards are followed.
• Track emergency and planned work orders and address chronic issues.
• Collaborate with facilities, engineering and operations on capital projects and PMs, part inventories, training and drawings.
• Assist with validation or quality concerns.

Description Overview

Provides leadership in planning, scheduling, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement to bring a world class Asset Reliability and Maintenance performance and capability to the production, facility, and Maintenance organization in PMI.

Scope of the Role

• Planning jobs to ensure tools and resources are available to complete work orders.
• Creating and updating job plans to ensure an accurate job library.
• Using scheduled Work Orders and PM’s, participates in directing workflow for production and facilities at the site, provides instructions to regular and temporary technicians, apprentices, and contractors to ensure that SOPs and safety standards are followed, and directs technicians and contractors to ensure that PM’s and WO’s are completed in a timely manner.
• Tracks emergency and planned work orders so they are effectively resolved, and chronic issues are addressed.
• Works with facilities, engineering and operations personnel on capital projects affecting related equipment, and assists in developing and implementing PM’s, spare part inventories, training, & drawings.
• Assists with validation or quality concerns.

Experience Required

• Demonstrated leadership ability, excellent communication, organizational, root cause analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, proven accuracy, ability to multi-task, and strong customer service skills.
• High school diploma or GEDwith demonstrated progress towards an associate or bachelor’s degree, computer literacy and knowledge of SAP preferred.
• Having a recognized trade by the Department of Labor in a related field and experience in scoping, planning and cost management also preferred but not required.
• 5 Years of experience in operations / manufacturing environment, with preference given to FDA regulated / GMP environment and previous experience with maintenance.
