The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California is seeking a Planner/Scheduler for the Gene Camp area in Parker, CA. This journey-level role coordinates maintenance planning and scheduling for Desert pumping plants and facilities, and interfaces with internal teams and external contractors to ensure work is completed safely and on time.

Qualifying candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years of journey-level experience in a relevant trade or craft, plus

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years journey-level experience in a relevant trade or craft.
• Public Utility experience in water/conveyance distribution is preferred.

Mansioni

• Coordinate maintenance planning and scheduling activities for Desert Region facilities.
• Provide operational support for Desert Pumping Plants and facilities.
• Coordinate and monitor corrective maintenance work orders for timely resolution.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external contractors to organize resources, timelines and materials.
• Ensure projects and maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and with minimal disruption to operations.
