Basic Function

As a Planner/Scheduler at Omya, you will play a vital role in optimizing production schedules and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This position is key to supporting our operational excellence and enhancing our ability to meet customer demands effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on production goals and resource availability.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to manage material flow effectively.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements for scheduling processes.
• Implement project management principles to oversee scheduling projects from initiation to completion.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding schedule changes and updates.
• Liaise with current and future vendors.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience in industrial maintenance is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus.
