Job Title: Planner/Scheduler at Omya

As a Planner/Scheduler at Omya, you will play a vital role in optimizing production schedules and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This position supports our operational excellence and enhances our ability to meet customer demands effectively.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and meet customer delivery requirements.
2. Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on production goals and resource availability.
3. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with supply chain teams to manage material flow effectively.
4. Analyze production data to identify trends and recommend improvements for scheduling processes.
5. Implement project management principles to oversee scheduling projects from initiation to completion.
6. Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding schedule changes and updates.
7. Liaise with current and future vendors.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience in industrial maintenance is preferred but not required.
