Job summary

USA Compression Partners, LP is seeking a Planner/Scheduler to support SAP PM processes across regional offices and compressor stations. The role focuses on maintaining maintenance plans, creating and updating maintenance orders, and ensuring accurate data capture for reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 2–5 years of experience, SAP PM familiarity, and strong Microsoft Office skills to coordinate preventive and corrective work efficiently while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or HS Diploma with equivalent experience.
• 2-5 years of experience
• SAP PM experience preferred
• General software computer skills necessary to support the configuration, implementation and use of SAP PM
• Understanding responsibilities of Planner/Scheduler
• Possess a general working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Working with Operations to define valid work requests per SOPs, prioritizing, planning and scheduling in SAP PM.
• Create and update maintenance plans in SAP PM, review planned work requests for validity and accuracy.
• Proactively engaging with Operations management to optimize workforce and minimize downtime.
• Assist operations by assigning scheduled maintenances within SAP PM with clear scope and dates.
• Manage the status of maintenance work orders from creation to completion.
• Escalate issues to the Operations Manager for incomplete maintenance work orders.
• Create and submit backlog reports to management weekly.
• Travel to assigned areas as needed to assist operations with SAP PM.
• Troubleshoot SAP PM issues as they arise.
• Assist with audits and master data submissions in SAP PM.
• Provide testing and validation for upgrades to SAP PM.
• Maintain documentation for SAP PM processes
