Job summary

Peabody Energy, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner – Rolling Stock to join the Maintenance team at the North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM) in Wright, Wyoming.

The role focuses on updating CMMS, scheduling inspections, and ensuring work orders align with site maintenance strategies and MSHA requirements. You will lead weekly Maintenance Plans, coordinate with Production and Maintenance teams, and drive reliability through RC M strategies while maintaining safety as a core value.

Qualifications

• Relevant Maintenance qualifications (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Formal Training with SAP and/or maintenance Planning computerized Systems – 98% pass rate on the SAP eLearning Training in Success factors.
• ICAM and/or RCA certificate of competence.

Responsibilities

• Visibly support and champion Peabody’s Missions and Values.
• Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System.
• Monitor work order completion rate and address non-compliances.
• Ensure correct SAP coding is used for different WO types as designed and trained in.
• Ensure SAP revisions are used for effective planning and management of PPMO, PCOR & PEMG work orders to ensure they are being prioritized and managed effectively.
• Actively manage and maintain defects in accordance with the defect management policies & procedures.
• Ensure that component remove and install functionally in SAP is used and maintained.
• Ensure that SAP equipment master data is current and updated as required.
• Communication and consultation across departments is required. E.g. planning requirements with operational departments, maintenance delays, incident outcomes etc.
• Ensure weekly Maintenance Plans are completed and lead the presentation of these to Maintenance & Production teams for discussion and approval.
• Ensure compliance with Peabody purchasing policies and expenditure authority.
• Ensuring Warranty Management is actively used as designed through SAP.
• Maximizing equipment reliability through root cause analysis of delays and component failure.
• Engagement with Production and Maintenance teams to ensure equipment is operated and maintained within Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) strategies.
• Demonstrate proactive safe leadership to all employees and contractors by utilizing safety tools and Peabody policies & procedures.
• Demonstrate strong teamwork commitments by fostering a culture of good communication using appropriate mediums to communicate all relevant issues to team members.
• Other duties as assigned by the company
