Job summary

Magna International’s Cosma division in Michigan seeks a maintenance professional to manage robotics and welding maintenance, implement preventative programs, and coordinate with production and suppliers. The role emphasizes inventory control, data analysis, and strong communication to support uptime.

The candidate must demonstrate experience with CMMS, vendor collaboration, and cross-training across skilled trades, ensuring safety and KPI targets are met within a dynamic manufacturing

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in a maintenance setting dealing with robots & welding.
• Experience in inventory management, understands lead times, min/max and re-order levels.
• Experience in setting up and maintaining a Preventative Maintenance Program – eMaint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains preventative and predictive maintenance procedures on mechanical equipment as laid out by manufacturers' specifications.
• Issues work orders and ensures parts are available.
• Coordinates preventative and predictive maintenance with Maintenance and Production Planning.
• Responsible for tracking maintenance related breakdown reports, OA, OEE, MTTR & MTBF.
• Orders and tracks all equipment and facility spare parts in the MRO crib.
• Works with vendors on delivery lead times.
• Establishes and maintains effective communication with production, engineering, quality, material and logistics, IT, HR support groups.
