Job summary

The Metals Processing Group seeks a Maintenance Planner to oversee preventive, predictive, and shutdown maintenance across its manufacturing facility. You will manage work orders in Fluke eMaint X5 CMMS, coordinate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and contractors, and drive reliability and safety.

Requirements include a technical degree, 3 years in maintenance planning in manufacturing, CMMS experience, and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline; combinations considered.
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance planning experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in wire, cable, steel, metals processing preferred.
• Experience using Fluke eMaint X5 CMMS or similar.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Create and track maintenance work orders using Fluke eMaint X5 CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production, Operations, Engineering, Quality, and contractors to minimize downtime.
• Plan labor, materials, tools, and contractor resources for maintenance.
• Ensure safety requirements and lockout/tagout instructions are included in work packages.
• Maintain asset records and preventive maintenance schedules in CMMS.
• Monitor KPIs, downtime, and maintenance costs to drive reliability improvements.
• Support predictive maintenance and condition monitoring initiatives.
• Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Manage spare parts inventory and procurement for maintenance.
• Plan major shutdowns and outages for safe, on-schedule completion.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, and company policies.
• Promote safety and continuous improvement across maintenance teams.
• Train staff on Fluke eMaint X5 and documentation standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and maintenance costs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
