Job summary

B&G Foods, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Planner to drive preventive maintenance planning and prioritization of work orders at our Iowa facility. You will collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to align schedules and ensure smooth line changes, setups, and testing.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and data-analysis skills, with experience in CMMS and MS Office. A technical associate degree or equivalent experience is preferred, and a valid driver’s license is

Responsibilities

• Responsible for continuous improvement of preventive maintenance planning and prioritizing work order completion.
• Collaborates with Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to meet plant operations needs.
• Review production schedule daily with managers to ensure lines are changed over, setup and tested promptly.
• Determine scope of work orders, assign tasks, and prepare materials for technicians.
• Maintain planner reference systems and library for recurring jobs.
