Job summary

WITRON Group in Mankato, MN is seeking a Maintenance Planner to drive efficient maintenance operations by planning and executing activities. You will balance production priorities with maintenance needs, coordinate resources, and keep systems running reliably.

You will use CMMS and MS Office to create schedules, manage work orders, and monitor performance while contributing to safety and continuous improvement. Occasional travel up to 5% is required.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary technical training in electrical or mechanical disciplines, with preference for electromechanical.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and drive technology concepts.
• Experience with maintenance planning systems and preventative maintenance strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage maintenance schedules for all plant equipment and activities to ensure uptime.
• Plan, prioritize, and coordinate maintenance work with production teams to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules with onsite and centralized support teams.
• Create and maintain accurate work orders, including shift schedules and part allocations.
• Monitor performance, track metrics, and report to management.
• Lead and develop the maintenance team with coaching and recognition.
• Estimate labor and material costs for planned maintenance.
