Energy Recovery, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Planner in San Leandro, CA to help sustain reliable manufacturing operations. You will plan and schedule preventive maintenance, manage the storeroom, and coordinate with vendors to keep equipment running efficiently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree/technical certificate preferred.
• 3+ years in maintenance planning/co-ordination in manufacturing or industrial facility.
• Experience with scheduling preventive maintenance and managing CMMS work orders.
• Experience with spare-parts inventory or storeroom management.
• CMRP/CMRT, OSHA 10/30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build, schedule, and maintain preventive maintenance programs for production equipment and building systems.
• Create and manage work orders in the CMMS; assign to technicians/vendors and track to completion.
• Develop job plans for recurring maintenance including steps, labor, parts, tools, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance windows with Production to minimize disruption.
• Track PM compliance, overdue work, backlog, downtime, and other metrics.
• Maintain equipment records, asset histories, and maintenance documentation.
• Manage the maintenance storeroom; organize, label, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Establish min/max inventory levels for spare parts and consumables.
• Issue parts against work orders; conduct cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Coordinate vendors and service contractors for equipment, utilities, HVAC, and other assets.
• Request quotes, initiate POs, schedule vendor visits, and ensure safety requirements.
• Verify completed work and review invoices; track vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Maintenance to prioritize work.
• All other duties as assigned.
